Villa Smeraldo is a scenic property located along the amazing Amalfi Coast, the stretch of Italian coastline that runs between Naples and Salerno. The area is renowned for its beauty, its hospitality, its traditional cuisine, and its charm. The most famous centers of the Amalfi Coast are above all Amalfi, Ravello, and Positano.

Each one of these towns has its own unique sites, traditions, and special recipes. Amalfi, the very heart of the Amalfi Coast, used to be the city where the dukes of 'Malfi managed politics and economics from the time of the early Renaissance. Positano the most chic location on the coast in last 60 years. The Amalfi Coast now features modern comforts and services, but has also retained its ancient beauty and its traditional character.

VIlla Smeraldo is located at 3,5 km. to the centre of Positano, along the road that connects Sorrento to Salerno, passing through Praiano, Amalfi, Ravello, Minori, Maiori and Vietri.

Other popular destinations such as Naples, Sorrento, Capri and Ischia, Pompei and Paestum can be also easily reached by private boat, by ferry, bus or by car.

From its terraces and gardens full of olive trees and bouganvilleas you'll enjoy a peaceful spot of Amalfi Coast: the dreamlike views are just spectacular, extending onto Positano, Li Galli Island (the smallest island once owned by Rudolph Nureyev the famous dancer) and the dramatic sunset designed by the sun that falls down in the Mediterranean sea.

Villa Smeraldo is completely immersed in a typical mediterranean garden: a complicate sequence of olive trees, small flower beds, roses, hibiscus, bougainvillea and several different plants. the villa stretches on natural and shady terraces overlooking the sea.

The property spreads over 7 hectares of olive and fruit trees and a wealth of fascinating footpaths that climb up the mountain on the back. The swimming pool (6 x 10 meters) has an irregular shape that follows the natural lines of the garden.

All the house is inspired to the same philosophy, all the rooms are built in harmony with the nature and its spaces.

The villa (310 sq. m.) consists of 4 separate units spread over several levels, surrounded by many terraces with lounge areas and a dining area with a table and chairs. These levels are connected by charming footpaths, designed by the irregularity of the land, which has created an amazing natural garden, lush and full of enchanting and cool spots.

Every bedroom is very large as a true suite, and is inspired by different styles ranging from rustic through the eighteenth century to the ethnic. Each bedroom and the kitchen are equipped with air conditioning.
