Beautifully furnished; fully air-conditioned; large quiet sun balcony with BBQ area, access from off the lounge and main bedroom, catches the morning and early afternoon sun. The Second twin beds bedroom has small Juliet balcony with 2 seats and table for relaxing in late afternoon and evening sun.
The apartment has a Wifi hub, at optional rental of a sim data card from a Portuguese mobile data company outside summer period or long winter rentals. For Summer during the period from 01 July to 10 October the cost of wifi will be included in the weekly rental price each year. It will be 4G unlimited data for this period.
The apartment has a Smart TV, and UK free Sat box, no DVD player as most people stream films etc via Smart TV OR OWN DEVICES.
There is a Nespresso coffee machine in the kitchen, instructions for use will be included in the apartment useful information sent to guests via the internet before arriving at apartment. Coffee pods can be purchased from the larger supermarkets in the area.
Location of the apartment is in the tranquil Sesmarias and Sao Rafael beach areas just a few kilometres west of Albufeira. A short walk will take you to the beautiful Sao Rafael beach with restaurant and facilities, also nearby are other wonderful Beaches and Coves to explore with excellent restaurants.
The stylish new marina, Albufeira Old town, Salgados golf course, Zoo Marine and other water parks are also nearby offering a fantastic choice of entertainment for all the family. The area has various other restaurants, supermarkets and bars including shopping in the Algarve Centre ( Route 8 bus - bus stop at top of street on main road.. A local bus service runs right outside the apartment from Gale Beach to Albufeira. The Big red city sightseeing tour bus also runs passed to of road and stops at the NAU Hotel opposite Tommy's bar. The Mar shopping centre and designer outlets near Loule just off the A22 toll road next to IKEA,you can see it when joining the A22 when heading to apartment 5 minutes after leaving Faro airport
GETTING AROUND
A car is handy to have if you want to site see places away from apartment. The Algarve red open top sightseeing bus passes by and stops outside the 5 star hotel a few minutes away from the apartment. There is a local bus which stops at the top of the road that runs passed our apartment to from Albufeira Old Town via the new Albufeira marina (Go Karting at this location too)
There is 5 star hotel close by that does good deals on spa treatments, pampering and sauna packages should you require a little out of the Sun time. The best supermarkets are a short distance away by car or taxi and these are Lidl and Aldi in Gale and Abufeira town, Oceania , Apolina . There are local mini-markets too but may be not as good as the larger ones on the road at top of complex left towards Marina within Ponte Grande complex and also opposite the NAU hotel beside Tommy's bar. The recently opened Luxury Hotel called the "W" is now open and a short walk towards Gale from our apartment. The larger 5-star hotels in the area have restaurants and Spas that can be used by non-guests of the hotels.
