The house is 1 minute walk from the tram B stop which serves the city center (3 stops), the direct train to Arcachon, university campus. Tram B has the tourist route of Bordeaux: Place de la Victoire, Musée d'Aquitaine, Hôtel de Ville, the Grand Théâtre, place Quinconce, Tourist office, the quays of the Garonne, the Cité du Vin and the seaside town in by the ocean, Arcachon (via Pessac). Just in front of the house there are the bus 9 return stops to Bordeaux train station (in 6-10 minutes you are at the station). Every 45 minutes there are trains to the Atlantic Coast. Summary: The owner of the house, Flo, was very helpful as our stay of 10 days was longer than the normal stay. We based out of the house in Bordeaux and did spend several nights out in other parts of the area. It is well located with easy access to bus for the train station and tram to go further downtown.
