These tastefully furnished chalets are located in a very well maintained holiday village, in a hilly and wooded countryside, a little more than a kilometre from the village of Mauroux. They are well-spaced, each with a large covered terrace and its own lawn. The village has plenty of green, grassy areas and trees and has a large fenced swimming pool surrounded by parasols and sun loungers, a restaurant and a covered playground with billiards and table football. There is a children's playground with slides and swings, a table tennis table and a tennis court. Activities are organised throughout the summer months. Mauroux (1.5 km) is a pretty little village with a shop, a restaurant, a post office and a small library. In the centre of Puy l'Evêque (12 km) you will find all the necessary amenities as well as cafés and restaurants. There are a number of villages along the Lot to explore such as Praysac (16 km), Castelfranc (20 km) and Luzech (27 km), which you can discover from the river on a river cruise boat which passes through some of the locks. Pedal boats and electric boats are also available at the locarion. The beautiful surrounding countryside can be explored on foot, bicycle and horseback at Lacapelle Cabanac (5 km). A little further away is Cahors (40kms) the centre of this wine region, with its famous Valentré bridge. The Saturday morning market is well worth a visit.2 and 3 bedroom chalets are available and several can be booked if required (see ref. FML112 for 2 bedroom chalets).
