Summary: Situated in a quiet road in the hills in the village of Granace, this traditional old house with shady terrace is great for families with kids (one double bedroom on the ground floor, one double bedroom on the top floor and a pull-out couch in the living area upstairs sleeps another two). Note that the staircase is quite narrow, younger kids may need a little help at first. The house is excellently equipped with close to everything you will need. There is a small grocery store a few minutes' drive up the hill including a post office. Our kids loved the friendly dogs and cats and the black buck who visited the yard regularly. Parking is conveniently located just across the road. The only thing which bothered us were the mosquitoes- so bring some repellent. Note that the house has no air conditioning so it was quite hot inside on some nights when daytime temperatures went above 35 Deg C). Roads to the beach (30-40 mins, we loved Campomoro) and the Alto Rocca area are winding and partly narrow but no problem. Finally, Marc was very helpful
