Surrounded by a vast zen garden entirely fenced with multicolor oleander trees, a ‘bouquet with thousands of flowers’ in summer. Modern villa with character, ideally located in Uzès, 10 minutes walk to town center, in a safe and privileged neighbourhood, very calm and green. Nicely furnished and tastefully decorated with a touch of oriental style, the house is spacious (102m2), fully equipped and very comfortable.
On the ground floor there is a large living room (50m2) very convivial with direct access to the terrace and garden. On the 1st floor, there are 2 large bedrooms and a large bathroom. The garden is approximately 800 m2 with private parking space. You can use the garden for relaxation or amusements (table tennis, garden shower, pétanque (popular French game), hammock, sun loungers.
The nearest shops, a little supermarket and a bakery, are 400m away, and it’s really pleasant to take a walk to the town center - 800m away: no stress to find a parking space! There is an open-air swimming pool in Uzès - 2 minutes drive from home - and an aquatic parc in La Bouscarasse, a exceptional natural location in the heart of the ‘Garrigue’ - 5 minutes drive from home. Detailed description:
The ground floor: it is composed of the entrance + an L shaped spacious living-room (50m2). Very bright and pleasant, this room has a fully equipped open kitchen, open dining-room, open living-room, direct access to the large terrace through 2 French windows. There is a view on the garden from every window. In the living-room, there is a superb view on nature from the three rounded windows. You can even see the Mont Ventoux ! The terrace is large (35m2) with chairs and table, outdoor dining is most pleasant under the shade of the canisses. The sun-loungers are an invitation to a relaxing nap !
Upstairs : a large bathroom with toilet and 2 beautiful double bedrooms with big wardrobes (1st bedroom with a queen size bed (160 cm), 2nd bedroom with a double bed + a single bed). Very comfortable quality latex mattresses. Sheets, pillows, duvets and blankets are provided as well as towels, tea towels and cleaning products. (there is a 2nd toilet downstairs). An extra bed can be added for a 6th person in the living-room (convertible sofa) on demand.
There is a small studio at the back of the house (where the landlady stays in the summer).
Direct access to table tennis in the large garage.

- Take a walk and discover ‘Uzès la Belle’. Wander in the beautiful little streets, look around, admire and be surprised!
- Go to the famous and popular provencal market on Saturday mornings on the ‘Place aux Herbes’ and the Boulevards.
- Go to the restaurant, enjoy an ice-cream or have a refreshing drink under the shade of the trees. Decide to go shopping or to the cinema;
- Walk down the scenic Vallée de l’Eure and along the river and enjoy the coolness of the water.
- If you have a sugar tooth, head to the Haribo sweets museum: visits AND tastings!
- Go and see the iconic Pont du Gard ! A wonder!
