Summary: The organically serene and magical location of the property was made even more perfect by the unexpected local amenities, a short and simple drive away; daily fresh bakery delights, perfectly stocked local store, bar & bistro -limited opening but definitely sufficient, weekly local produce market, petrol station & mini carrefour supermarket....and the local villages very own medieval Castle made for a great mornings exploration! The hosts were super lovely, the pool was exceptional & the shady tree with comfy resting chairs was the perfect reading, napping & resting space! Wifi was fab! kitchen was completely perfect for big family meals & the open plan living area was awesome especially as the gite stayed cool even in the hottest of days!! Further afield, but still only a short drive was a beautiful lake with pedalos, shady picnic areas & great lakeside restaurants, moules recommended! Scenery of fields and fields of sunflowers, many more local beautiful villages & of course the Canal Du Midi, so much to enjoy! Our celebratory family French Vacance was perfect:)
