Summary: Spent a week at Nick's and Sue's charming Vendeen cottage. They couldn't have been better hosts. Old world style with lovely terrace and garden for outside dining. Only 25 minutes or so from beaches and towns of Les Sables d'Olonne and La Tranche sur Mer. Cottage isn't far from small supermarket and lovely bakery in Moutiers les Mauxfait. Massive supermarket about 20 mins away in La Roche sur Yon if needed. Discreet hosts, but cheerfully on hand for help/info if needed. Ideal choice for peace and quiet!
