Summary: met 2 volwassen en 5 kinderen was dit huis helemaal top, voldoende kamers en ruimte. In de kelder een ruimte met fitness apparatuur en een sauna EN een thuisbioscoop. De franse Netflix is goed te doen, je kunt alles met engelse ondertiteling instellen. Er is een grote wasmachine en droger wat een weekje weg met kinderen ideaal maakt. Daarnaast een grote tuin met een verwarmd zwembad, in de avonden kun je met verlichting aan ook nog genieten van het zwembad. Alles is aanwezig in het huis. Er lagen zelfs handdoeken die we konden gebruiken. Er zijn genoeg supermarkten in de buurt, alleen het centrum van Verdun is wat saai. Vele winkels gesloten waarschijnlijk vanwege Corona. We hebben de citadel bezocht en de kathedraal, maar vooral genoten van de rust, ruimte en het zwembad. Van de trein die af en toe eens voorbij kwam (meer niet dan wel) hebben we totaal geen last van gehad. De eigenaars zijn zeer vriendelijke den vrouw spreekt voldoende Engels, we kregen een rondleiding en alles werd goed uitgelegd. In een eerdere recensie gaf iemand aan het wel te waarderen als er wat flessen gekoeld water en een flesje wijn zou staan bij aankomst. Dit hebben de eigenaren goed tot zich genomen, want er lagen idd wat flessen water in de koelkast en een fles champagne! Voor een gezin met kinderen die wat rust en ruimte willen is dit de ideale plek!
