Positive: I really appreciated that the apartments were soundproofed and that the windows had black out blinds (as we have a young baby). The place was spotless and the pool was lightly heated (again very helpful for a baby). The staff (cleaners, reception staff, breakfast waiter) were very warm and accommodating.

Negative: We booked our holiday for a slightly out of season time (end of Sept). I wonder whether the hotel would have had more atmosphere if we'd have booked in high season. Quite often bars were unmanned, and it felt quiet. That suited us quite well. The breakfast is fine, but nothing to write home about (a little overpriced and I can't imagine the amount of food waste as few families were eating breakfast). Clothes washing facilities would have been helpful, though they're nearby in the local supermarket which is very close. It would be helpful for the lift to the street to be working - as it wasn't when we were there. Also, it would be helpful to be able to use the indoor pool with children.
