Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The owners/hosts were very friendly. Although they spoke no English and we no French, they would usually have someone from the camp connected to the home accompany them in talking with us. They were very kind and helpful. Initially, the home was lacking several items — trash cans, some kitchen utensils, etc —but they quickly brought us what was requested. The immediate yard and area around the house was lovely, a well tended garden, flowers, etc., but it is right next door to a campsite. It was very quiet and restful. While there's not a lot to do within walking distance, the house is less that 15 minutes from Bayeoux and less that 30 minutes to the D-Day Beaches.

Summary: The house is lovely space. We enjoyed our time here.
