Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: We were pleased with the location, the free parking in the middle of town, the views from our room, the spaciousness of the room, the comfort ( there were 2 chairs in this double room which seems to be rare nowadays!). The staff in the restaurant was very pleasant, but at breakfast, they seem to be more interested in consulting their phones!

Negative: The meal left a lot to be desired. The choice wasn’t large, mainly local dishes which could be really interesting if prepared with some flair! The main course was very disappointing : suprême de pintade sounds promising. Unfortunately thé ‘suprême’ was merely the wing bone and a small piece of breast attached which had been cooked to a frazzle, so dry served with chips and yet again a heap of salad. We were so disappointed we didn’t have the courage to chance a dessert. €28 seems a lot for two courses which do come up to expectation in my case. The waiter was kind enough to knock off our two espressos off the bill in view of our disappointment, but this should not happen in a 3 star hotel.
