Positive: Excellent welcome from a superb host who showed us into a stunning room which reminded us of the exceptional efforts made on several UK TV programmes to bring ancient French buildings back into use in the 21st century. Considerable efforts had also been made to ensure we were able to navigate the medieval centre of the town, as well as enjoy the wide choice of restaurants for our evening meal. We also enjoyed a first class breakfast on-site.
