Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Brilliant location. Between the ramparts and the town. Free on-street parking. Simple access and clean, spacious accommodation. Superb hot water for shower etc and good amenities.

Negative: The sofa bed could do with a little bit of attention and the front door needed a very firm hand to open and close, which made it quite noisy. Don't be put off by this though - it's incredible value for money and a great location.

Summary: Superb location to use as a base to explore this much-overlooked region of France.
