The house has been renovated and furnished by a design studio. Box spring beds, rain showers, a saltwater infinity pool, a large outdoor barbecue, a fully equipped kitchen - there is nothing left to be desired.
The accommodation
Our recently renovated, light and airy villa overlooking the sea offers a refreshingly modern interpretation of the traditional Algarve beach house. Set in a tropical garden of palm trees, spiny shrubs and light gravel and stone paths, Portas do Campo is a modern retreat with nods to the region's architectural past.
The two-storey, three-bedroom house has hand-made fish-scale clay tile floors and an infinity saltwater pool at the rear, surrounded by a sun-drenched pergola. There is also a barbecue pergola where you can enjoy culinary delights with friends or family. The interior of the house is decorated in a subdued beach house style with lots of wood, dried plants and decorative touches of earth tones and natural fibres against plain white walls.
