The gentilhommière (manoir) is a gentleman home part of the Chateau grounds built late in the 1890 by the Bergougnan (Chateau is not for rental) over 140m2, it has been completely renovated which includes an open kitchen with a breakfast bar fitted with dishwasher, washing machine, living room with TV and dining table for 8.
They are 3 bedrooms, 2 with double bed and 1 with 3 single beds with chest of drawers and cabinet - we also provide a high chair and travel cot if required for little one. The building has very thick walls so it's cool in the summer and doesn't require air conditioning.
All rooms have sisal carpet as well the living room.

The property sits in a 7ha land that is gated and fenced all round.

Outdoor you have access to a pool 6x12m with Roman stair (3-4 steps) operated on oxygen and bromide (no chlorine smell) which is not shared. The pool has an average temperature of 28*C from May to early October.
You will be provided with rattan garden furniture, sun loungers, fire pit and bbq.

There is also a hot tub that can accommodate 6 people in the wooden hut near the pool.

Trampoline for the kids, tennis table and football table available... they are board games, TV, DVD player, Netflix and Wifi is available in the building and outdoor.

Peaceful location close to top local restaurant (30s by car) and gastronomic restaurants (15mins by car). Toulouse airport is 45 mins.

There are three markets that take place on Thursday, Saturday and Monday morning. The latter is in Samatan and is well know for its foie gras market.

Summary: We spent at week at Chateau Riolas in the Gentilhommière in July 2022. Matthieu and his family were the perfect hosts. They were there to welcome us when we arrived and nothing was too much trouble if we wanted any information or assistance. The property has just been refurbished and it is beautiful inside and out. The pool only a few metres from your front door is great and the gardens surrounding the house have plenty of places to sit outside with chairs and tables as required. The house is very well equipped and you can live as if you were at home very easily. Riolas is surrounded by beautiful countryside wherever you turn with a plenitude of local restaurants not far away.
