Positive: 24 hour reception is convenient and we were able to book late and get in without any trouble.

Negative: We chose this property because it was the best looking option in the immediate area, and the photos and reviews suggested it would be a step above the surrounding budget hotels — cleaner, better maintained, and more thoughtfully renovated. Unfortunately, that wasn’t our experience. The room had a strong musty smell, the carpet was visibly dirty, and most surfaces looked tired and poorly maintained. The headboard was very dusty, and while the bed linen itself was clean, everything around it felt worn and neglected. The renovation appears to have been done at the absolute minimum level, using the cheapest materials and finishes possible. That in itself wouldn’t necessarily be an issue — but at this price point, it simply didn’t feel justified. In the morning, we paid €9 for two cappuccinos out of a Nespresso machine which felt unreasonable and out of touch. Overall, this felt like a budget hotel being priced and marketed as something more. Had the cost reflected the actual standard, expectations would have been different but as it stands, the value for money just isn’t there.
