Gite Florence is a self contained 2 person ground floor apartment within an old ‘Maison Vigneron’. On the banks of the river Vernazobre. Set on the edge of the Languedoc National Park and only 40 minutes to the beaches of the Mediterranean. Beziers Airport is 45 minutes, Montpellier Airport just over an hour away and Carcassonne 1 hour 18 minutes.

Gite Florence is located in Combejean, a commune of Pierrerue, a small active wine growers village surrounded by vineyards. It is only 6 minutes drive or 30 minutes walk to the centre of Saint Chinian with all it's amenities.
The house was built in the 1800s, it still has the wine vat from the days of being a vigneron and has also seen life as a café during the war and was a bar tabac in 1970's and 80s. Due to it;s age it has thick walls and so keeps a pleasant ambient temperature.

Gite Florence has it's own parking and opposite the gite, steps down to a garden which is on the banks of the river Vernazobre. It is possible to swim in the river. We also have a swimming pool for you to enjoy.
We are perfectly located on the borders of the Languedoc Nature Park, the mountains and the Mediterranean beaches.
With good weather throughout the year, the whole area is very popular for cycling , walking, swimming, canoeing, fishing, beaches, mountains, wine tasting. it is possible to hire bikes locally or travel with your own bicycle. We have secure storage for bicycles, windsurf equipment or similar.
