Quinta do Paraiso is a resort in 2 parts. we are on the top part which is a bit quieter, with a beautiful pool and kids pool only 20m from the apartment, but only 500m to the main reception where there is a bar, restaurant, kids club, entertainment etc....
The short walk into Carvoeiro centre provides stunning sea views and you’ll pass by the beautiful Paraiso beach (a hidden gem down a flight of steps cut into the cliff face), which is also a great spot to watch the sunset. In the village you’ll be able to wander onto the main beach, passing nearby cafes and restaurants and from where you can get boat trips to explore the glorious coastline with its renowned caves and grotto’s. If walking is more your thing, then pass through the village and up to the church where you’ll find a scenic boardwalk along the cliff tops that will take you along to Algar Seco where a drink to take in the views at the Boneca bar is a must.
