At 4 minutes walk from the beach, this charming longère combines tradition and modernity. Built at the end of the 19th century with a typical brick and flint facade, it was redone in 2015 inside, with taste and simplicity. A softness of life emerges from it. Facing south, very bright, you will love its veranda which offers a magical view of the garden. Sheltered from view, you can have lunch on the large wooden terrace in the sun. After an invigorating swim, the sauna allows you to relax gently. Everyone gathers around the central island of the kitchen to prepare fish and seafood, and drink a glass of cider (in moderation of course). The house has a kitchen and dining room on the first floor with a large table, a living room with a fireplace visible from both sides, a playroom/library at the back with a sauna, a bedroom with its own bathroom and the laundry room. The four bedrooms are divided between the 1st and 2nd floor, accessible by a wooden staircase. From the living room, a staircase leads to a bedroom with a double bed on the mezzanine and a bunk bed underneath, and a small bathroom. Ideal for a family or a group of teenagers wanting to be a little independent during their stay. The house is at the exit of the village, in direction of the beach of Saint Aubin sur Mer, on the Alabaster Coast. Bathed by the green and blue waters of the English Channel, the Alabaster Coast offers the most impressive landscapes of Normandy with its majestic white chalk cliffs. The region is world famous for the beauty of its gardens created by talented botanists and landscape architects, especially in Varengeville-sur-Mer. Saint-Aubin is also a very popular spot for windsurfers and kite surfers in the region. You will find there the 1st kite surfing school of the Alabaster Coast. The sandy beach at 4' walk from the house allows the practice of longe côte, and walks or horseback riding at low tide.
