Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The host was very welcoming and attentive, always available if we needed anything. The location was excellent, with the beach just a short drive away, and a charming boulangerie in St Lucie de Porto Vecchio. The villa has a fantastic view and is surrounded by lush plants, and the pool was a great addition. We also loved having cats around :)

Negative: The villa itself is quite basic (especially when compared to some of the other villas we've stayed in Italy and Greece), clearly designed with rental purposes in mind. While it includes most essentials, it lacks some small touches that could make it feel more cozy and inviting. For example, although soaps were not mentioned in the description, having body wash and shampoo available would have been standard - something I've found common in other places around the world. Also, we didn't use the terrace table as it was quite dusty.

Summary: Overall, a pleasant stay with a great location and friendly host
