Accommodation: This new and spacious mobile home has 3 bedrooms and can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, fridge and gas hob. The toilet and bathroom are separate.
To facilitate the daily life of people with sensory disabilities, many adjustments have been made in this accommodation:
•The steps to the terrace are equipped with orientation strips
•A fire alarm system with a flashing light is installed in the toilets, in the bathroom and in the bedroom.
•A vibrating box is present under the pillow to warn in case of a fire.
•Switches and sockets are clearly marked; they are contrasted by means of coloured strips on the cover.
•The hot and cold water are identifiable on the various mixers, by means of colour systems in the shower and sinks.
•The gas hob is equipped with a burner system with automatic ignition. For ease of use, a plastic map with relief is provided to show where the burners are located. The gas hob also has relief buttons.
•The same system is used for the microwave to indicate the power and timer.
•Communication materials, including detailed maps of how to get to the various services, are available at reception.
