Positive: We enjoyed the rustic setting in a delightful hilly countryside area. Someone lives at the other end of the farmhouse, really quite far from the section we occupied, so there was privacy as we spent a lot of time in the courtyard/patio/garden area. The kitchen is of traditional proportions for a farmhouse, huge! We ended staying in there when the heat became too much. The 2 double bedrooms are quite big with enough furniture to unpack completely.

Negative: Some of the electric wiring needed work, and the game room(table tennis) could not be used at night, when it was fresh enough to even think of moving about. The cooking and sink area also had no lights working, although when asked, the landlady gave us a floor lamp which helped. The sitting room had a bit of a stuffy smell, we think from the sofas, so we avoided using it. Working locks for the bathrooms would have been nice. When we booked it wasn’t too clear that the 3rd bedroom with bunk beds, was really a walk through to one of the bedroom.

Summary: Not perfect, but we had a good time in Aramengo.
