Unique, prime location on top of hills right in center of Santa Teresa. It takes 4 min drive on our 4x4 road to get to beach access, surf spots, restaurants, supermarkets etc. We have stunning white water Ocean view: you can see people surf Banana beach from our infinity pool. Zen vibe,tropical gardens,wide yoga decks,sunbathing areas,sunset and sunrise view,Ocean breeze and tranquillity make this property the perfect place to chill and relax after surf or to work as well.
Internet speed is 300 mbps. Is possible to upgrade up to 1Gbps up/download on request.
GENERAL INFO / WI FI :
The style of this Villa is unique and authentic. The house is designed to be suitable for the tropical climate and in harmony with the surrounding enviroment. The house design offers Ocean&Jungle view from every area.
The location is quiet, on top of the hill where our 4x4 private road ends, surrounded by the radiant beauty of Costarican Nature.
The road is 4x4 or ATV only: it means that a vehicle that is not 4x4 just can’t make it up to the house. Even with the best driver.
The property has fiber optic WI FI 300Mbps download and upload speed, to upgrade up to 1Gbps on demand, cable TV (football, soccer and golf channels included), sunbathing swimming pool deck furnished with loungers, private yoga deck, zen gardens, day beds, ceiling fans and A/C in each room. The house is decorated with balinese furniture and locally handcrafted unique pieces designed by the owners.
BEDROOMS&BEDS :
all the 3 bedrooms have king size bed with new orthopedic mattrasses and 4 to 6 pillows each.
The master bedroom is at ground floor and has an ensuite bath with shower. The upstairs bedrooms have a shared bathroom between them.
The living room has two Balinese day beds and yoga deck has an outdoor queen size bed.
AIR CONDITIONING, VIEWS :
bedrooms, living room and kitchen have their own new A/C system and ceiling fans. All the bedrooms have ocean and jungle view.
The house has more than 10 large glass sliding doors-windows to allow Ocean and Jungle views from each area. If you don't like A/C the natural breeze from the Ocean can flow through the whole house: all our doors and windows have mosquito nets.
DECKS :
every bedroom has beautiful Ocean & Jungle views and direct access to the expansive decking of the Villa. The upstairs includes 2 bedrooms, bathroom, terraces and a covered large open air yoga deck overlooking the jungle and with Ocean view furnished with a queen size day bed.
Our swimming pool sunbathing deck is furnished with teak chairs and loungers.
LIVING ROOM :
Living room is at ground floor, is furnished with 2 Balinese sofa beds, big coffee table, 50” cable TV, Ocean and jungle view and it opens on the kitchen furnished with large wooden island and bar stools.
KITCHEN:
In our kitchen you will find everything you need to cook: pots, pans, kitchen tools, extravirgen olive oil, salt, pepper and spices. The kitchen is totally furnished with dishes, cups, wine glasses and beer glasses as well.
We're coffee lovers: in our kitchen you'll find coffee grinder, french press, american coffee machine, espresso machine and, of course, fresh Costarrican coffee and sugar.
OUTDOORS :
The outdoor dining area has a 8 person wooden table, sunbathing deck with loungers and chairs, gardens, chill and relax areas. Private parking. Please remind that Cloudbreak house is located few minutes away from town center but is surrounded by tropical jungle.
EXTRA GUESTS, LARGE GROUPS/RETREATS :
In case you are planning to have guests or your group is large, our guest House may be available on request and is located on the same property.
CLEANINGS:
cleanings and laundry service are included in your stay. Our staff is available Monday to Saturday 8am to 4pm to come to the house for cleanings or just to pick up the laundry. To ensure our guests privacy is a priority for us : our staff will show up at your house only when you request.

ROAD
Road to Cloudbreak house is strictly 4x4 only. Vehicles that are not 4x4 won't be allowed on this private road.
Walking up and down hill is HARD: please be aware that are 0,5 km of steep, dirt mountain road and is not for everyone to walk up and downhill. We won't accept any complaints/refund request in case you decide to stay here with no transportation/no 4x4 transportation and realize how hard is to walk up to the house.
LAUNDRY ROOM
At Cloudbreak Villa Guests are not allowed to use laundry room. This is unfortunately due to the repeated damage we had from incorrect use of the laundry machine and dryer. We include in your stay cleanings and laundry service whenever you need.
ENVIRONMENT: OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
Sound of waves will accompany your stay at Cloudbreak. The tides will mark the hours. You’ll enjoy sunrise on the mountains and sunset on the Pacific Ocean. In the rainy season you may find yourself in the clouds and the mist will rise from the river at the bottom of the Valley. In the Summer thousands of yellow Cortez flowers will blossom around you.
Our house is close to the Ocean and surrounded by Rainforest: here you can see monkeys, iguanas, GEKOS, tucanos, parrots, raccoons, peregrine falcons, owls, tropical tree frogs, armadillos, pizote, mountain cats, spiders and snakes….and it is common to have visitors from the Jungle. No one of them would want to hurt you! But please remember that forest is their house.
Bugs are attracted by lights and sugar.
In our house there are gekos!!! They eat mosquitos and other bugs.
To understand and accept this environment is part of your choice to be in this Country.
Our house is fully equipped with mosquito nets and functional sliding glass doors but please be aware that we are sharing this place with a mighty Nature and we are just lucky guests.
