This comfortable cottage is in the very conveniently located village of Montaigu-les-Bois. You have a private garden with a lawn. From your private terrace, equipped with a barbecue, you can enjoy an unobstructed view over the fields! A great place to end the day! The house has a beautiful, authentic interior, which is neatly arranged with a renovated kitchen and bathroom. A beautiful living room with antique tiled floor, stone internal walls, beamed ceiling, lounge area, fireplace, TV, DVD, CD player and dining area. Spacious kitchen with breakfast nook, microwave, food processor, patio doors and separate cooking area with bar top. The house is situated in the heart of La Manche's top attractions. Visit the picturesque village of Villedieu-les-Poêles (8km) with its copperware and bell foundry. Within half an hour's drive is the famous Mont St Michel (45km) and the town of Saint-Lô (34km) with its famous racehorse stud. The coast between Granville and the seaside resort of Agon-Coutainville (35km) has beautiful sandy beaches, the nearest being at St Martin-de-Bréhal (25km). Treat the kids to a day at the amusement park in Bréville-sur-Mer (25km). Near Villedieu is the Champrépus zoo with a large playground. The pretty harbour and beach at Granville (30km) are well worth a visit. Just north of Montaigu are the majestic remains of Hambye Abbey (4km), a typical example of Norman architecture.
The coast between Granville and the seaside resort of Agon-Coutainville (35km) has beautiful sandy beaches, the nearest being at St Martin-de-Bréhal (25km, also golf course). You can hire a sailboat or surfboard.
