You will recognize the entrance to the 2.5 hectare park by its red Basque gate. Take the road and admire the centuries-old oak forest that borders the property, with the Atlantic Ocean in the distance.
Entering the house from the very large living room of + 130m2 with its central fireplace by designer JC Bordelet, you will appreciate the large picture window with its view of Saint Jean de Luz, and even to the Landes.
If you are lucky (and good swell conditions ..) you may see off the ledge, the mythical wave of the Basque Country, the Belharra waking up before your eyes.
Take advantage of the warm library with "Basque red" walls to relax, play a game of billiards, or even work a little (but not too much) on his "custom" desk in solid oak.
Before exploring your home further, consider having a snack in your Leicht kitchen. Very generous in size (40m2) and open to the house and the terrace, this convivial space was designed by a designer from Bidart. You will be able to take advantage of high-end equipment (Miele equipment) which will make meal preparation, with authentic products from the Basque Country, a great moment of shared happiness.
Well satisfied, come and stroll on your huge terrace of more than 200 m2, paved with stones from the Rhunes. At the edge of the 16x4 swimming pool, heated and treated with salt, you will delight in the "double view" Rhune and Ocean which is the trademark of the villa Etche Churria. The safety of the swimming pool is ensured by a floating type shutter, with electric control.
To rest, the villa offers eight bedrooms, all equipped with their private bathroom. The whole house was renovated in 2018 with high-end equipment (Grohe taps), for your comfort.
The owners were keen to make the house "eco-responsible" and the heating + hot water unit is produced by wood pellets (High performance Okofen boiler, replaced in 2019).
Children are not left out with a dedicated playroom, with table football and TV, as well as a "dormitory" for a holiday atmosphere of yesteryear.
To keep you entertained, a professional cinema room (4K projector, ClassG amplifier ATMOS standard), designed for 12 people, will be able to enthrall you for hours of pampering in front of a blockbuster, an old classic, or even cinema.
But if you want to stay active or improve your physical condition before a surf session on Hendaye beach, on de Bidart, our gym and its Pilates and TRX equipment are there for you.
The forest below the house is part of your property, and you will appreciate its freshness in summer and its buccolic charm (and porcini mushrooms for experienced amateurs!) in autumn.
The typical Basque village of Urrugne is a few kilometers away, and the beaches of Hendaye are only a few minutes away.
