Built in traditional Portuguese style, this holiday home is located in a quiet residential area near Alcalar, 10 km from Portimao and just a short distance from the beach in Alvor. It is comfortably and comfortably furnished and surrounded by a beautiful, well-kept garden, which offers you almost complete privacy. The center of the garden is the large swimming pool. From the small hallway leads a door into the practical and well-equipped kitchen and another door into the spacious living room with fireplace, a sofa and a dining area. From the living room, two doors lead left and right each onto a terrace, one facing north, the other south facing with a beautiful view of the Monchique Mountains. In the two bedrooms left and right following the living room leads to two steps.
In and around Alcalar are several restaurants and a mom and pop shop. Supermarkets and shopping centers are in Portimao. The nearest is 6 km away. Golfers will find several great golf courses in the area, the closest, at the Penina Golf Hotel with 9 and 18 holes, is 3 km away. It is 10 km to the long and wide sandy beach of Alvor. There are also plenty of parking spaces. Alvor, a lively, charming former fishing village with a small harbor in the lagoon of the Alvor River has a beautiful promenade and a variety of restaurants of all price and quality classes. Praia da Rocha, a district of Portimao, with its large beach and lively nightlife is 12 km away. In Portimao also start the boat trips to the caves along the coast or to Silves the Arade river.
The airport of Faro is 70 km away and can be reached via the motorway in about 50 minutes.
A rental car is urgently recommended.
