Our family home was one of the original villas built in 1970 and retains its original marble and tiled floor in the spacious open plan living room and dining area. The 4 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms can accommmodate 8 adults and an additional cot can be provided (at a fee)
The furnishing in the living room provide a large marble dining table and chairs and comfortable seating for 8 people.

rought the living room and all four bedrooms. There are 3 patio areas, two at ground floor level and one at roof level with seaview- a quiet spot to read a book or sunbathe.
This patio also has a small table and chairs, together with sun loungers. The main patio
at ground level at the front of the villa has a table and chairs for dining al fresco with an ext endable awning to provide shade if required. The patio at the rear has a shower facility available to clean off sand when returning from the beach.
Of the four bedrooms, three can be configured as twins or as king-sizeddouble beds according to guests wishes. The fourth bedroom has twin beds and althought of similar size to other bedrooms is best suited as a children´s room. It is next to the master bedroom.
There are 2 bathrooms each serving two bedrooms, ( one with full bath and both with toilets and showers).
The well equipped kitchen provides everything you need to self-cater. It is fitted with a tall fridge/freezer, oven, hob, Bosch dishwasher and washing machine, microwave, electric kettle and a coffee maker.
Prainha is a security patrolled private complex with controlled car access in peak season, making it a safe area for children to play in the surrounding well tendered gardens.
In the village complex there are 3 outdoor swimming pools. The spectacular Atlantic pool is set in one f the nature´s most beautiful natural amphitheatres overlooking the sea.
The 4 restaurants include the Caniço bar and restaurant, which is set above the beach and accessed by elevator from the cliff top.It is a very special place to have dinner, whilst watching the sun set.
There is an Aquadream spa facility at the Prainha Clube apartment hotel which is open all year round. It has a large well equipped gym, indoor pool and Mediterranean baths, Aromatherapy, Turkish bath,Massage room, Beautysalon and Wellness center. These facilities are available by resevation and appointment only.

Prainha Village, Alvor is the perfect safe location for a family holiday. It is situated on the cliff top overlooking the semi-private Três Irmãos beach which is acessed by lift or 200 steps!. You can also walk down onto the magnificient main Alvor beach and boardwalks.
