Our house is laid out villa style -2 bedrooms both with brand new en-suites. “Great room” with living room, dining area and kitchen is perfect for indoor/outdoor entertaining . Luna Del Mar opens facing the sea and pool, with a full wrap around porch. Bedroom #1: 1 queen bed. Bedroom -#2: 2 double beds. Common area: 1 twin daybed, 1 twin daybed with twin trundle. Total beds: 6 (sleeps 6-8 max)
House 2: Camp Lunita
Right next door on the property, is a sea-facing cottage called Camp Lunita. You walk into the screened in porch with (2) twin bunk beds, a natural wood sitting area, modern slate grey Kitchenette and killer sea breezes. Inside the cottage you’ll also find (1) double bedroom (with AC), and bathroom. Camp Lunita has 5 beds and fits 5-6 comfortably…
Zancudo is a sleepy little village at the end of the road. It's off the beaten path. The trade off is a lush rainforest with ample wildlife viewing opportunities year round.
There is nothing to stress about here. The ocean is warm year round, with fine dark volcanic sand. We picked this part of town because it's central and the waves are perfect for swimming, body boarding and beginner surfing. If you head south, the beach is better suited for surfing with big wild waves.
The beach is natural and beautiful. Hermit crabs, shells and smooth ocean stones abound. You can hear and see the macaws, and watch the Pelicans, kites and hawks fly silently above. Surprise guests like sloths, hummingbirds, capuchins and iguanas will hopefully greet you.
