Summary: Although we stayed in a beautiful suite and the location is perfection, I have to say that the services at the hotel were not the level we expected. There wasn’t ever a staff person at the door, concierge service didn’t seem to have much information or offer help, etc. We were in Florence for half of our trip and Rome for the other half, and compared with our hotel in Rome, this just wasn’t up to snuff. That being said, staff were kind when we spoke with them and those who worked at breakfast were lovely and on their game. I guess I’d say that when you pay St. Regis prices, every element should be perfection.
