Wonderful adults-only villa (no minors under the age of 14 allowed), located a few km from Cortona and Lake Trasimeno, near the border between Tuscany and Umbria.
The property is set in a natural setting with a splendid view over Monte Amiata and Cortona. It is surrounded by a garden of about 1 hectare, characterized by majestic oaks, rows of vines, small fruit trees, a vegetable garden available to guests, and a little pond with fish and water lilies.
You will also find several areas equipped with sofas, large tables for alfresco lunches/dinners, and a gazebo for massages on request.
Among the outdoor spaces there is a private parking, a hot tub, and a delightful pool (6 x 12 m), equipped with deck chairs and sun loungers.
Internal Description
Spread over 2 floors, Villa Centoia can accommodate up to 16 people for a total of 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms (including a toilet) and 4 sofa beds.
In order to provide the maximum privacy and comfort to guests, the villa has been divided into 4 lovely full-serviced apartments. All apartments are provided with: outdoor dining area, air conditioning, piped music, tv, Internet Wifi, induction hob, fridge, freezer, mosquito screens, blackout curtains and a covered terrace.
Pets are not allowed.
In the basement of the villa there is a lounge bar, equipped with a professional machine for coffee, cappuccinos and herbal teas. The bar can be used for indoor lunches and dinners, but also for breakfast and wine tasting on request (this service is not included in the price).
1st Apartment: Set on 2 floors, it can accommodate 4 people. On the ground floor you are welcomed by a bright living area with double sofa bed. Following is an equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower and a closet.
On the first floor, accessible via an open staircase with a window overlooking Cortona, you will find a large suite (about 60 sqm), furnished with silk sofas, an early 20th century table and large windows offering a splendid view of the top of Monte Amiata. Inside the suite there is also a double bed (with electric slats), a hot tub (with chromotherapy), a private bathroom with shower. Finally is a “Secret room” with Japanese futon (for 2 people) and a private toilet.
2nd Apartment: Arranged on one single level on the ground floor, it can sleep up to 4 people. The entrance leads to a living area with equipped kitchen, dining table and a sofa bed (with two single beds, that can be joined together if necessary). Along the corridor there is a bathroom with shower and a double bedroom, furnished with antiques and a chaise longue.
3rd Apartment: Located on the ground floor on one single level, it can accommodate up to 4 people, offering a beautiful view of the garden and the pool area. It consists of: a very bright living area with a double sofa bed, an equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower and a double bedroom.
4th Apartment: This apartment is set on one single level on the ground floor, and it can sleep up to 4 people. You will find: a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower, an equipped kitchen, and a living area with a double sofa bed and an electric fireplace.
Prices and conditions
Included in the price: Utilities (water, gas, electricity, except for heating and air conditioning); welcome basket (breakfast for the first morning, olive oil, 1 bottle of wine, salt and pepper); private parking; pool towels; washing machine and dryer; ironing set.
Excluded from the price: Final cleaning (350.00€); heating consumption; air conditioning (150,00€ per week); breakfast and wine tasting at the lounge bar on request; bar service; other extra services on request. Tourist tax (the amount usually varies, depending on location, from €0,50 to €4.00 per person per night for a maximum of seven nights, excluding minors, and will be paid upon arrival).
