Casa Madeira is a boutique villa located in Lagos Algarve, remodelled and renovated in 2024 to achieve a more comfortable, sustainable and energy-efficient lifestyle.
The Villa is a rare and tranquil piece. It has beautiful St. Caterina floor tiles and arch featured terrace to address the Algarve identity. Main living spaces including the living room, dining room, four bedrooms, terrace and balcony are all south-faced, with a private lush garden and pool view. The garden is surrounded by tropical tree-shaped skylines and a 270-degree non-building blocked environment. On the first-floor balcony (North America's second floor) it can also see the Porto da Mós beach in the distance by overlooking the south-facing valley.
The house is kid-friendly with a gated garden and a sloped shallow pool, which keeps the kids safe and entertained, while parents can enjoy full relaxation at the same time.
Location
The villa is about a 15 to 20-minute walk to the old town. Supermarket Intermarche is 200 meters away. It's easy access to N125 and A22, with most of the beaches by a few minute's drive.

The villa shares a gated entrance and
has 4 parking spots reserved for the clients.
The living, dining and bedrooms
A full kitchen with a bar area and fully equipped, very bright and spacious.
The living room facilitates a 60-inch screen TV and sound bar system, as well as a full-size pool table and classic bar stools.
An Italian Piazzetta ceramic pellet fireplace and ducting system are installed in all living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms.
The living and dining spaces are set both indoors and outdoors to reflect the Algarve lifestyle. A group of sofas consisting of 3+2 seats are set in the indoor living space, parallelled by a group of 3+2 lounge chairs set on the arched terrace outdoors under the roof.
The same concept for the dining spaces, an indoor 6-seat marble and wood-featured dining table, which can be extended to 8 persons, as well as an outdoor dining space for 10 people. It has a charcoal BBQ by the outdoor dining space (Extra cleaning fee applies).
The artworks in the house are exclusively by artists from Berlin Germany, Quebec Canada, Poland and the US.
The powder room is by the living room, next to the staircase, with retro vanities and Morish hand-made wall tiles.
There are four bedrooms in the house, three ensuites and one with a separate washroom outside of the bedroom.
All bedrooms are south-exposed, with double-glazed doors to balconies or terraces and retractable bug screens.
One bedroom is located on the ground floor, three others are on the first floor. All with built-in toilets and walk-in showers (except washroom at the 3rd bedroom on the 1st floor, which is a bath/shower combined)..
The first bedroom on the ground floor is an ensuite with a double bed. It's in the Bauhaus tradition, with an Art Deco backdrop.
Three other bedrooms are on the first floor.
The master bedroom has a retro tone with the comfort of today, a European king-sized bed and an enlarged separate-function washroom, a free-standing bathtub in its own space, and a spacious space with a retro vanity.
The middle bedroom is with twin beds convertible to a king-sized. It's not an ensuite, a separate washroom in the hallway on the same floor to serve this bedroom, with a massage shower and waterfall head, and a modern Japanese Wabi Sabi interior.
The 3rd bedroom on the first floor is by the east side. It's an ensuite with twin beds convertible to a king-sized. It has a beautiful outdoor terrace. The washroom is a bathtub & shower combined.
All washrooms are installed with heated towel racks.
The garden & pool are exclusive to the clients during their stay.
Part of the garden landscape is designed to respond to the ocean waves to its south. The garden is lighted up by solar lights during the night. By the poolside, there are lounge chairs and a day bed for clients to chill. The garden has varieties of fruit trees, such as grape, lemon, pear, Loquat, Pomegranate, almond, fig, etc. During fruit season, clients are invited to enjoy the fruits for free.
There is an outdoor ping-pong table for entertaining.

Pool towels, inflation toys etc are rented for an extra fee.
A beautiful Igloo real wood fire sauna from Lithuania was tailored for this property. The sauna service opens seasonally (Nov to Apr) Out-of-season service is upon request and on an extra fee.
