Positive: I have travelled to many luxury destinations all over the world and Kelapa Retreat & Spa was possibly my most favourite ever. It’s set in the most stunning, beautiful location - amongst so many wonderful plants, palm trees and directly on the secluded beach. We felt like we had the whole resort (and whole beach!) to ourselves most of the time, it’s so peaceful and tranquil. The sound of nature and the crashing waves relaxes your nervous system from the moment you arrive. The food was all SO good, and the service is outstanding - the staff cannot do enough for you. They are so friendly, attentive and warm (without being over bearing!) and nothing is too much trouble. The treatments we had at the spa were dreamy and the free yoga classes and other daily free activities were all delightful and such a nice touch, as well. We also booked meditation and chakra healing sessions which were amazing. I really could not fault anything about this place, it is perfect, and I’m so grateful we chose to stay at this hidden gem. It feels like heaven here and what I imagine authentic Bali used to be like, before what the chaotic main tourist areas have now become. We were SO sad to leave!! We do not usually return to places we’ve been but I already want to return here! Thank you so much to all of the wonderful staff for making our stay so special.
